Rolling machines

Three-roll manual bending machines (rollers) are designed for use in small workshops. Depending on the model, 3-roll manual machines of this series can bend sheet steel of various grades with a thickness of 0.4 mm to 1.2 mm and a length of up to 2 meters. They can be used for aluminum bending, in the manufacture of gutters and round ducts, as well as fittings for rectangular ducts.
The processing process is a bending-rolling of a sheet billet through the rolls of the unit. Finished products can have both a closed circuit and an open one. The main work is done by three rolls, of which the bottom and side rolls rotate in the forward and reverse directions, the upper one rotates in the forward and reverse directions and moves up and down. Ease of maintenance is achieved due to the simple and completely demountable metal construction of the machine. Our bending machines are suitable both for the manufacture of downpipes and for the manufacture of shaped elements of air ducts!

Mechanical three-roll rollers, as a rule, have a simple scheme that works according to a symmetric shaft arrangement, as a result of which they are more often used in the manufacture of ventilation elements or gutters at the installation site of structures.
Such a machine works on the principle of rolling the workpiece around the upper roll, which in turn is the main working shaft and its diameter determines the minimum bending radius of the workpiece. The settings and the maximum diameter of the radius of a cylindrical product are made by adjusting the height of the upper shaft in relation to the lower shafts. The lower shafts are arranged statically in a symmetrical arrangement and are actually fixed at the same distances relative to the upper shaft (symmetry)
Below I will give a photo of the symmetrical arrangement of the shafts.
Rollers with an electric drive work according to an identical scheme, the only difference is that their design is more massive and, unlike manual equipment, is capable of processing sheet metal with a higher tensile strength, making it possible to manufacture products on an industrial scale.
Mechanical 3-roll machines are used to process copper, aluminum, galvanized sheet metal or sheet material with a higher maximum tensile strength.
This design has its pros and cons. The downside is that when processing metal, small straight sections may remain at the edges of the workpiece. It happens that they can be eliminated by placing a tin can in the place of the break, however, in order to level this, they began to use an asymmetric scheme in production, which you can see in the picture below.
In general, there are simpler designs of three-roll rolling mills with one adjustable lower shaft, but there are also more complex ones in the device, which have 2 or more movable shafts. The main feature of such a scheme is that the lower shaft can be displaced in relation to the main working shaft at a certain angle to the vertical / horizontal plane. This scheme allows, due to the uneven adjustment of the lower shaft, in the end to obtain parts of the ideal conical shape.
It is possible to manufacture non-standard rolling machines. Negotiated separately.
